Timothee Chalamet promises arson if Knicks win NBA title

In the blissful haze around Madison Square Garden after the Knicks historic comeback win over the Cleveland Cavaliers in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference finals, star of the Dune franchise Timothee Chalamet called a press conference at The Rutherford.

BGS was on site at the bar on West 33rd Street across from MSG in the hours after the game and was front and center for Chalamet’s presser, which is transcribed in full below.

“Seven more fucking wins and we set the Chrysler Building on fire.” The speech was met with rousing applause and dueling chants of “Let’s Go Knicks” and “Ja-len Brun-son.”

Brunson had a game-high 38 points including 17 in the fourth quarter and overtime.

Chalamet, who was visibly inebriated, was not available for questioning as he was picked up and crowdsurfed across the bar to cacophonous cheers. BGS reached out to Chalamet’s manager, Brian Swardstron, for comment.

“I’ve worked with Tim for more than a decade. He says this shit every spring. We’re all just happy he’s having a good time. Go Knicks”

Game 2 of the series will be Thursday night at New York’s most famous arena.
